1-UP GIFTING PROGRAM

Review: To start off, Sprit of Wealth Today does not provide marketing materials or training. It is simply a private membership group that was started by a group of former NOSS members that broke off to start their own membership group because they wanted more freedom in the way they market. SOW is around eight years old and has over 40,000 members in over 16 countries. Like NOSS, SOW also appeals to many people because it has 3 levels of participation: $500, $1500, and $3,500. Many teams within SOW use internet-based systems like websites and streaming audio.

The Pros: Unlike NOSS, there are ZERO Marketing and promotion restrictions making the entire program easier to enroll people in. With the lowest entry level being only $500, it’s accessible to the masses. Most SOW members use replicated websites that incorporate recorded overviews so no personal explaining is necessary and this in turn keeps the follow up minimal. There is zero cold calling or salesmanship needed with this type of system.

Best Feature: Unlimited marketing potential. Again, the low entry fee of $500 makes this program accessible to many people. The automation using websites to deliver the information saves time and give people more freedom as to how they want to promote the program.

The Cons: The only thing I could find that I would consider a ‘Con’ is the fact that when someone has questions or wants to get started with this program, they have to call their inviter to get started. A good duplicable team should have a callback system feature or assist members in calling back interested prospects.

Biggest Flaw: Some teams in SOW have great marketing systems and strategies in place and some don’t. If you join this program, make sure you are working with a strong mentor and team with great marketing tools.

Admin Fees: It’s professionally administered using a 3rd party tracking software system (1UpTracker.com) that keeps track of referrals and gifts received, etc. The tracking fee runs at $120 per year.

1-UP GIFTING PROGRAM

Review: Abundant Living System launched July 17, 2008. This program also appeals to many people because it has multiple levels of participation from $150 to $5,000. It’s professionally administered using tracking software system that keeps track of referrals and gifts received. You can also semi-brand your replicated website.

The Pros: With the lowest entry level being only $150, it’s accessible to the masses.

Best Feature: Program is accessible to many people.

The Cons: Most recently many have been leaving ALS. Many have been troubled with the constant pitching of other programs to join from the Admin.  Many believe that the recent dropping of the admin fee was an attempt to “stop the bleeding”.

Biggest Flaw: Same replicated websites and too much self promotion by the administrators.

Admin Fees: Last time I checked, there was a $150 admin fee.

Review of The Overnight Cash System

1-UP GIFTING PROGRAM

Review: As an internet-based cash gifting activity, The Overnight Cash System uses a 1Up style structure like the others and offers members one of the most professional and hands-off systems out there. There are 6 levels or “tiers” in TOCS: $250, $500, $1,000, $2,500, $5,000, and $10,000. Interested prospects visit the website to read all about the program, listen to the audio recordings, read the testimonies, watch the movies, then they can call in toll-free or submit a Callback Request and get all their questions answered “customer service” / “team leader”.  Most people join at $500 or $1000.

The Pros: The TOCS Website has a very sleek feel to it and many newbies are attracted to it due to its “automated nature”.

Best Feature: Professional TOCS Team Leaders personally call and answer all your prospects questions for you, so it can be almost completely hands-off on the member’s part.

The Cons: The TOCS Website has a “Get-Rich Quick” Feel to it and that actually turns some people off. Thus, the conversion ratio for visitors is really low. The high administration fees are only making TOCS richer. The materials they provide are easily available for FREE when you choose the right cash gifting program. Also, they have a strict “no deal” policy on gifts. Another significant weakness I seemed to have found with the system is that there is no way to broadcast email follow ups to your database. There is also no control over what messages the system sends out, as they are all sent from within the system.

Biggest Flaw: Biggest thing that I found was the strict restrictions they put on “use of their marketing materials”. Also, you are not allowed to change the content of the letters that are sent out to your prospects via the TOCS auto responder. They have the right to eliminate you at their will (I know people who have gotten success there only to have made a mistake in marketing and had their site shut down permanently). Another major downfall is that you have to get all your materials approved by TOCS before publishing them. Do not be fooled by the “complete automation” that they advertise…there is nothing that is 100% Automated Online.

Admin Fees: There are additional fees required to become a TOCS member. These fees are determined by which Tier Level you choose to get started with and range from $200 to $1,000. There’s also a monthly fee of $29.95 for the hosting of the replicated websites as well as access to all the marketing tools. They give a discount if you purchase a one year subscription up front. Just to be clear, the fees I just mentioned are in addition to the initial cash gift that’s sent to the sponsor.

Review of The People’s Program

RESIDUAL GIFTING PROGRAM

Review: The People’s Program is a newer residual cash gifting program. This program also appeals to many people because it has 9 levels of participation from $150 to $10,000. It has the same fancy graphics and replicated websites like the others. However you can semi-brand your site.

The Pros: Very well done program with a ton of training in the back office. Also, the admin fee is low at $50 / year. Cash gifts are delivered to participants via Fedex, UPS or DHL.

Best Feature: Training & marketing and simplicity.

The Cons: Some like the residual gifting, some don’t.

Biggest Flaw: Residual gifting structure (it sucks having to give up a part of every gift to your sponsor for life) and the admin fee, which makes this program borderline illegal due to making this a pyramid structure.

Admin Fee: $50 / year. Some justify this as an auto responder fee.

Review of TLC or NOSS

1-UP GIFTING PROGRAM

Review: NOSS/TLC is one of the more popular 1UP style gifting programs out there and has been around for over 8 years. The program has been promoted as having over 40,000 members worldwide in 16+ countries. I don’t think there’s any way to really verify this, but based on the popularity of NOSS, it’s possible. NOSS appeals to many people because it has 3 levels of participation: $500, $1,500 and $3,500. Leaders within the program also conduct several live overview calls each week as well as a daily training call which is primarily motivational. It’s professionally administered using a 3rd party tracking software system that keeps track of referrals and gifts received, etc.

The Pros: With the lowest entry level being only $500, it’s accessible to the masses. The weekly conference calls to invite prospects are well scripted and professional. There seems to be a genuine sense of community and support with NOSS and their system is simple and simple to follow for duplication.

Best Feature: Low entry fee of $500 makes this program accessible to many people and the daily calls are conducted by industry leaders.

The Cons: If you join NOSS, you better be prepared to do some serious phone work and be able to handle rejection well, because participants are taught to promote the activity using an outdated antiquated method that focuses on buying lead lists, and COLD-CALLING strangers, or running ads and following up with people to invite them to the daily calls, etc. You’re instructed to invite them to the daily calls using a simple 2 minute script, then follow up with them.

Biggest Flaw: Not internet-based. They have strict policies about how you can actually market the program and will delete you from the system if you violate their terms. One of the things they forbid is internet marketing. Why? I don’t know, but it probably has to do with some of the founders just liking to stick with old-school prospecting methods. Most people with little to no selling, or direct telemarketing skills should pass on this activity. There are other highly automated activities available and most people will have a better chance of success with leverage and automation.

Admin Fees: The tracking software runs about $120 per year.
